On 04/05/2020, the company “Sphere Cutting” started work on demoltion the foundation pad at Nagatinsky proezd 10, building 1.
According to the terms of reference, the foundation pad consists of an upper part with a volume of 930 m3 and a lower part with a volume of 84 m3. Both parts of the pillow should be cut into segments, the weight of each of which should not exceed 10 tons.
The work involved two wire rope machines and six drilling rigs. The deadlines allowed for the work to be carried out only on the day shift. All work was carried out in the open air in a pit. The restraining factors were heavy rains, which constantly flooded the place of work, as well as the lack of access for work by a crane, which significantly reduced the pace of dismantling. In the course of the work, 1060.3 m of the line were drilled, including 85.5 m2 of perforation and 1043.4 m2 of cutting with wire saws.
On June 22, 2020, the dismantling was completed in full. Due to the work being carried out during the COVID-19 restrictions, all employees were tested daily for fever and were provided with the necessary additional personal protective equipment.
