Dismantling of the Makarovsky bridge.

The group of companies “DeStroy” was selected as a contractor for dismantling works during reconstruction among several applicants – leaders in this industry. One of the criteria was the ratio of price, time and cost of work. Our experience, technical equipment with specialized equipment and the availability of production facilities were taken into account.

Having vast experience in the field of diamond cutting and dismantling types of work, we took up the implementation of such a complex project in terms of technical requirements and conditions in a short time.

During the execution of the work, all the accumulated experience was used and non-standard solutions were applied to accomplish the assigned tasks. Which gave a natural result.
An important condition for the successful completion of work is the preliminary competent development of PPR for dismantling, where all the subtleties and nuances of the future process must be taken into account.

A detailed study of these points at the initial stage is the key to the successful completion of the project.

The complex of works provided not only a narrow specialization in the use of diamond cutting technology in a large volume, but also the combined use of small and large-scale mechanization tools, including heavy-duty cranes.

The facility used the possibility of partial processing of the dismantled reinforced concrete and concrete structures for reuse, which gave both an economic effect and reduced the harmful effect on nature within the framework of environmental protection requirements. To date, DeStroy LLC strives to come to a closed cycle of work, taking into account the minimization of disposal costs and reduction of environmental harm.

Competent organization of the production process, together with the implementation of related types of work, made it possible to fully, according to the schedule, cope with the task within the framework of the schedule.

The length of the bridge is 238 m and consisted of 4 arched spans and 4 beam spans.

Dismantling was carried out in two stages, with the preservation of transport and pedestrian traffic on the lanes adjacent to the dismantled ones during the production of stage 1 of the work.

– Stage 1 (2017-2018) – division by a longitudinal expansion joint of the bridge into two parts, followed by dismantling of the northern part of the bridge (about 4000 m3 of dismantled reinforced concrete);

– Stage 2 (2020-2021) – dismantling of the southern part of the bridge (more than 6000 m3 of dismantled reinforced concrete);
