The first acquaintance with the equipment took place at the facility in Tula, where the company’s service team tested the new equipment and trained trainees in real field conditions.
Under the supervision of experienced professionals, future specialists of the company completed
2 vertical cuts during the reconstruction of the bridge on Oktyabrskaya street. The cuts are necessary for the subsequent dismantling and replacement of the old wall with new supports.
The area of each cut is 7m2. The concrete is heavily reinforced, the reinforcement diameter is 24-32mm. The speed of one cut is 1.5 hours.
The modular design of the Swedish system allows for direct mounting of equipment directly on the object to be cut without the use of additional rollers for winding the rope. This feature increases cutting speed and reduces roller wear, unlike stand-alone storage systems such as HILTI. But it is not convenient where direct mounting is not possible, as it requires separate solutions for mounting equipment. Usually in such cases, a slab or concrete block is used to which the bed of the cable system is attached.
Remote control over the cutting process and the need for only two operators to install and start the system make its use in a construction site convenient and safe.
