GK “SnosStroyInvest” won a municipal contract for the demolition of dilapidated residential buildings in the city of Severomorsk, Murmansk region.
Until the end of the third quarter of this year, within the framework of the municipal contract, the SnoosStroyInvest Group of Companies will dismantle two emergency apartment buildings with a height of 3 and 4 floors. The total area of buildings built in 1938 and 1961, demolished in the closed city of Severomorsk, is 2 thousand m2, and the construction volume is 10.5 thousand m3.
Since engineering communications of water supply, sewerage, gas supply, heat supply, power supply and low-voltage networks are underway on the territory of the work execution, before the start of work, the specialists of “SnostroyInvest” will have to survey the territory together with representatives of organizations operating engineering networks.
– In accordance with the customer’s assignment, dismantling works will be carried out by the collapse method, which is based on the use of replaceable attachments on the excavator: a hydraulic shear and a hydraulic hammer for crushing and crushing rubble concrete,” says Aleksey Ershov, the work manager of SnostroyInvest Group. – Since the building is brick, frameless, with wooden floors and a wooden roof truss system, brick breakage and construction waste (wood waste) formed after the collapse will be stored and then sorted. Wood waste is disposed of at the solid waste landfill, and clean brick pieces will be sent for recycling.
