Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Dmitry Tetenkin and the head of the National Association of Demolition Organizations Artyom Kondratiev signed a cooperation agreement. According to the document, the parties will jointly consider issues to reduce the volume of non-recyclable construction and demolition waste and the transition to a circular economy.
The Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, together with the Ministry of Construction of Russia, is doing a lot of work on the regulatory and legal structuring of the sphere of construction and demolition waste management. The signing of an agreement with the National Association of Demolition Organizations is an integral part of this work, related to the need to link the developed regulatory legal acts with their practical application by companies operating in this area.
The agreement included the issues of reducing the volume of waste entering the accommodation facilities, and the transition to a circular economy in the field of waste management, which are generated during construction work, reconstruction, modernization, repair, improvement, demolition, dismantling of buildings, objects, the construction of which not completed.
