Dismantling of buildings at the Segezha PPM.
Buildings and structures built in the 30s and 40s were partially in disrepair and could collapse uncontrollably under any impact.
Technological pipelines with water, steam, chemicals were located near each building, and in some cases they were located close to the walls of the demolished buildings.
One of the buildings was a chimney 70 meters high with walls up to 2.5 meters thick. The dismantling of the pipe was complicated by the constant unfavorable weather conditions (strong winds and rains). The work was carried out in gas masks, since the wind blows from the neighboring pipes were directed precisely to the dismantling site.
