Comprehensive dismantling of a part of an unfinished 11-storey building not completed in construction at Oktyabrskaya Sq. 5, Yekaterinburg.
DeStroy was given the task of dismantling a part of the emergency 11-storey building in a short time. The project provided for dismantling works in the immediate vicinity of the existing building of the city administration and the building of the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, the implementation of measures aimed at minimizing hazardous production factors arising during the work, especially in dense urban development.
All activities for the process of performing work, the sequence of their implementation, the selection and use of types of special equipment were worked out at the initial stage of the development of the project to produce works, which made it possible to reduce and optimize the timing of dismantling.
To ensure the protection of the existing building, a continuous protective fence was provided for the entire height of the dismantled object and a continuous protective fence along the translucent structures of the facade to prevent the scattering of glass fragments.
Dismantling was carried out using an integrated method, using diamond cutting technology with wall saw discs, rope systems and specialized mini-equipment weighing from 2.5 to 5 tons, for working in confined spaces and hard-to-reach places, indoors.
