SnosStroyInvest Group of Companies completed dismantling of the former brick factory owned by LLC LSR. Wall materials ”in the city of Nikolskoye, Leningrad Region.
Within the framework of the project, on an area of 8 hectares, the SnoosStroyInvest Group of Companies dismantled the aboveground parts of buildings and structures of the former Nikolsky brick factory (formerly JSC Lenstroykeramika) with a construction volume of about 70 thousand m3, and also carried out the removal and disposal of the resulting waste.
All work was completed within a year. It is noteworthy that back in the early 2000s, a new brick factory was planned to be built on the territory of the Lenstroykeramika plant in the immediate vicinity of the clay deposit owned by LSR, – emphasizes Irina Onikiy, Deputy General Director of SnostroyInvest Group.
The former Nikolsky brick factory was founded in 1955 and produced about 82 million pieces of building bricks per year. In 1997, Lenstroykeramika became part of LSR Group, and in the late 90s and early 2000s, a phased reconstruction of the plant’s production facilities was carried out. However, in 2012, in connection with the construction of a new brick factory on the border of the Kirov and Tosnensky districts of the Leningrad region, LSR decided to close the Lenstroykeramika plant.
