In April 2020, OOO SnosStroyInvest successfully completed a set of works on demoltion the warehouse buildings of the Zhelezny mine at Kovdorsky GOK JSC in the Murmansk region.
Kovdor Mining and Processing Plant is the second largest producer of apatite concentrate in Russia and the only producer of baddeleyite concentrate in the world. The GOK is part of MCC EuroChem JSC, one of the world’s largest producers of nitrogen fertilizers and organic synthesis products.
Within six months, within the framework of the contract, OOO SnosStroyInvest had to prepare a site for the production of non-explosive components of emulsion explosives for JSC Kovdorsky GOK: dismantle four warehouses, including ramps, blind areas and reinforced concrete foundations, remove and dispose of materials after dismantling , as well as to carry out, after dismantling, environmental support and backfill the foundation pits with the layout of the areas with soil. All work was done efficiently and on time.
