Since the beginning of 2020, the city authorities have managed to liquidate 14 long-term construction projects.
“In the course of work to reduce unfinished construction projects since the beginning of this year, we managed to liquidate 14 long-term construction projects. At the same time, 20 new objects were identified, which, according to the proposals of various city structures, were also taken into consideration, ”said Sergey Lyovkin.
“Out of 14 long-term construction projects, two have been commissioned, and work has been resumed on eight projects. So, for example, they began at educational and laboratory buildings of a medical profile on Vernadsky Avenue, vl. 90 and ow. 96. In addition, four more sites have been excluded from the list of long-term construction, since structural elements have been dismantled, and the territories themselves have been improved, ”he added.
Sergei Lyovkin recalled that since 2011, at the direction of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, work to reduce construction in progress has been carried out within the framework of the relevant Operational Group in the Department of Urban Development Policy of the city of Moscow.
“From 2011 to the present day, thanks to the well-coordinated work of the city authorities, it was possible to exclude 515 objects from the list of long-term construction projects,” stressed the head of the Department.
Lyovkin clarified that the list of unfinished construction objects includes sites where construction has not been carried out for more than two years, and therefore the List of long-term construction objects is updated annually with the inclusion of new objects in it.
According to the head of the Department, taking into account the objects included in 2020, 266 objects of construction in progress are currently in operation.
